where can i buy rope to go round a deck feature as opposed to wood surrond?
Also how do i fix the top and bottom rail without doing difficult wood cuts ?
We used huge rope to go around a deck–it’s about 2 1/2″ in diameter. We couldn’t find any marine supply stores near us that stocked rope that large, but we found it easily on the internet.
One answer above makes a good point, though. One or two courses of rope between posts may not meet your local building code. Call the inspection department before you start and ask for the requirements.
