can parakeet birds take care of a new born wild bird i found?
I found a new born baby wild bird on my porch. I have 2 parakeet birds,male and female. I dont want it to die. Is it possible that maybe my 2 parakeets could nurture it and take care of it so it can survie? Because i dont know how to feed it.
No, the budgies might kill it. Can you call your county animal control office? They may pick it up & take it to a wildlife rehabber or they may give you info for contacting a rehabber yourself. Does the baby bird have some feathers, just looking a bit scraggly? If so it’s prob a fledgling and the parents are nearby wondering where it disappeared to.
Extreme bird watching – little hummingbirds
