Reproductive and therapeutic cloning ?
Sorry for all the questions but is statement #1 or #2 right on cloning ?

Human cloning allows man to fashion his own essential nature and turn chance into choice. For cloning’s advocates, this is an opportunity to remake mankind in an image of health, prosperity, and nobility; it is the ultimate expression of man’s unlimited potential.
And does God a prove of cloning?
Neither. NO one is farming humans, and no one wants to. When we talk about theraputic cloning, we are talking about helping the person grow a new organ. Or cloning stem cells used in stem cell transplants. Hematopoetic stem cell transplants are a fancy name for a bone marrow transplant. For the patient to get the transplant, stem cells from the marrow, peripheral blood, or cord blood have to be donated. Cloning could reduce all marrow transplants to a simple blood draw, and then clone the cells so that there is a sufficient amount for transplant. Do you know how many more people would sign up for the marrow registry? Do you know how many more people could get transplants?
As for number 2, eugenics IS a concern for a lot of people. There is a fine between things like genetic therapy and the abilities of IVF to make choices on the baby, and eugenics. Eugenics is not currently a problem with this, however.
God’s approval depends on who you ask, and if that person fully understands what we are doing with cloning. No one is trying to clone full humans, and no one wants to. Theraputive cloning seriously could have helped me when I went through my bone marrow transplant, and I see the other good things it can do. I think God does approve of it. But, of course, just like anything, too much of it is bad.
