Is it okay for my parakeet to use the bird treat as a perch?
I placed one of those “treat sticks w/ nuts” in the cage but my parakeet won’t even eat it. Instead, he uses it as a perch to stand on. In fact, that’s his favorite place to stand. Is this okay? I mean, is it unhealthy in any way?

I don’t see any reason why it wouldn’t be okay, as long as he’s not.. dropping on it, then eating it, and just using it as a perch.
