Why does my sugar glider become so aggressive and scared when i get him out to play @ night?
i know the proper way to handle the glider. i don’t chase him around or try to scare him, but as soon as i get him out, he tries to get away. When we go to pick him up, he bites. HARD. he drew blood on my finger! the rest of the time hes in his cage, snuggled in his sack, i can get him out and hold him against me, and he is sweet, and asleep. i feed him right. i keep him warm. im not sure whats the problem..
some are just super cranky being an any sort of light. Maybe buy a blank light and try to take him out when that’s on. My friend had one who was really cranky like that too and it was mostly because the light was on. She’d only play with it in the dark with just a tv on.
