Small Parrots

Small Parrots
Need To Know If Quaker Parrots Are Fat, Small and more of that kind of Stuff?

Also If I Have An Ashmatic In The House Will He Be Alright Also Need Pixs.
Also How Much Are They.

1. Quaker parrots, like all parrots, are exotic animals. In other words, methods of discipline and training that work for dogs and cats should never be used on parrots. Furthermore, parrots require hands on attention. Finally, ALL parrots make noise and bite at some point – if you don’t want that, please do not get a parrot.

2. Quaker parrots, in particular, are banned in certain states (e.g., California) because escaped parrots have formed flocks that have caused havoc on electrical polls. Check your local state law.

3. I do not believe that Quaker parrots create a particular amount of dander (like cockatoos or African greys), but all parrots produce some dander. I would recommend obtaining an air filtration system, as many parrot enthusiasts have, which work quite well.

4. Quaker parrots, in particular, are relatively small – a little larger than a cockatiel. They can be quite goofy.
