where can i buy sisal ropes and wiffle balls for my pet lovebird that are cheap?
my bird needs some new toys and the petstore i go to never as anything for lovebird in stock or anything new and exciting, so i want to make my own toys for her.
The sisal is what you have to be very careful about. It cannot have been treated with anything. The safety factor might be worth spending a little more. Unless you are wanting it for some purpose that only sisal will do, any clean cotton rope is good. I get my stuff through Drs. FosterSmith.com. As for the whiffle balls, and a lot of other good safe stuff, try a Dollar Store. They have the whiffles in every size from golf ball up to soft ball. All my parrots love those. They are light, easy to grab onto and easy to throw. And they wash up great. Oh, I’ve also seen the whiffles at WalMart.
