What has a stronger/worse smell, rabbit or ferret?
I’m deciding on what to get, either rabbit or ferret. I have owned both in the past and really enjoyed both but cant decide what one smells worse. I know both of them have strong smelling urine.
Ferret fur smells worse than rabbit fur. Rabbit pee is rancid, though. I never had an issue with ferret pee smell. Edit – Being related to the skunk doesn’t mean anything… skunk fur doesn’t stink, the glands do, which are usually removed in pet ferrets.
