Is there a generic version of Nestles Good Start Supreme with DHA and ARA?
With my son, now two, I used Nestles Good Start Supreme infant formula for year one. He tolerated it very well, no gas, hardly any fussiness, just liked it in general. So, now that I am having my daughter in a few weeks I am deciding what formula to use with her. And as it worked so well I would be inclined to use Nestle Good Start again. However, times are tough, and if there were a generic equivalent that would save us some money I would consider trying it. I have seen generics of Enfamil (Parents Choice) but not of Good Start. Does anyone know of a generic that is nutritionally equal to Good Start? And if not, does anyone have an opinion on Parents Choice? or UP and UP Target Brand formula? I realize they are all regulated by the FDA so they are all going to be nutritionally sound, but I’m just looking for some added advice from real moms/dads who have used the products. Thanks in advance!
My daughter started on Similac but we quicky switched over to Target’s brand as soon as we ran out of the Similac because it was a lot easier on our bank account. She used it for probably 10 months out of the first year and had no problems.
