What type of parrots is this cage big enough for?

Birds of each species vary in size, so a cage that might be big enough for one individual of a species may be too small for another individual of the same species. To determine if the cage is big enough for a bird measure the birds wing span and the length of one wing and add that to the height of the bird including the tail. If the bird is in the middle of the cage and can spread its wings without touching any side of the cage, lift its wings over his head and not touch the top of the cage and the bird’s tail clears the bottom of the cage, then the cage is big enough. A better indication is that the length, width and depth of the cage is at least double the wing span and the height is double the height of the bird with his wings lifted above his head and includes the tail measurements. By doubling the measurements you should be able to make room for toys. Bar spacing should be close enough that the bird cannot push his head through the bars.
