Does anyone know what i can do to keep poop off of my cats butt?
He is a long haired cat and he always gets poop stuck to it, and when i go to get it off by either pulling it off or cutting it off, he meows like he is in pain. I really don’t want my cat on my bed with a poopy but either so i have no clue what to do he like attacks me when ever i try to get it off.
he is not overweight he is 14 lbs and he is a male mainecoon.
My boy who has a VERY delicate stomach has this problem ,if he happens to get anything other then his normal food. I have a clippers and make sure his tush is always trimmed, if you don’t feel comfortable doing it , I am sure there is a groomer in your area that will. I would make sure you put him on a good diet for delicate digestion and keep his backside trimmed .
