How do i make a baby play pen? what material should i use?
i want a jumbo playpen but can not buy one the size i want so im going to make my own
any suggestions?? or where could i got to get someone to make one up for me?
Please be carefull with that project. Playpens are manufactured to goverment specifications to avoid unnecessary injuries and even death. The proper width/spacing of the vertical slats is critical and must be followed.
I saw a neat one in a families finished basemenet. They made an 8 x 10 ft playroom with a large ‘window’ type entrance, no doors.. All the walls and floors were carpeted. The large ‘window’ contained no glass or covering but it was high enough so the parents had to lift the baby or toddler into the room. The parents could then watch the child while they enjoyed TV or the mom actually did her ironing. the kids loved it as all their toys were in that ‘play pen’. Another benefit was that the noise was held to a minimum due to the carpeted walls.
