My Quaker Parrot just swallowed something! Will he be ok? please hurry :’(?
my bird was chewing on the inside top of my motorola Razor cell phone. If you knoe what that is or look up the inside of it on google images you will see that at the very top in the center there is a silver little circle with the morotola symbol on it. It is a hard piece of plastic glued on to the phone. My bird took that off and swallowed it whole. Will he be ok? What can I do to help him? I called the vet and they said to watch for regurgitating because that would be a bad sign in this case. And anyway, if he doesnt vomit it out or poop it out wont it stay in his body? Isnt that bad? HELP please! Im worried. And He isnt having a hard time breathing by the way Thanks 
There is not a lot you can do here if he did swallow it, but… I have good news. He probably didn’t swallow it! They will hide things behind their tongue or up in their beak, especially if they think you are trying to take it away from them! It can be very hard to see the object… He probably was hiding to chew at his leisure when he thinks you won’t stop him… They are very clever birds!
The bottom line is that he would not swallow it. He probably wanted to chew/play with it. Don’t leave cool things to chew apart within your bird’s reach! They will get it and break it, every time! I have safe things to chew strategically placed in my home so that the birds can “think” they are getting away with something naughty when they swipe said object to shred and destroy. 
So, he’s probably ok! Keep an eye out for the object on the floor, at which point you could remove it from his reach.
