Lixit Bird Water Bottle Leaking?

We recently bought a plastic lixit water bottle for our canary. The canary has taken a liking to it, but the bottle constantly is dripping. We tried pressing the ball in like the directions stated, but it always ends up dripping. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a solution? Do all Lixit bottles do this?

i had one like that before and it did the same thing i dont think alll of them do it though. i have one now that doesnt drip at all but its glass instead of plastic

its pretty much that one but im not sure if thats the right size for a canary?
