Our budgie/parakeet still pretends to ‘feed’ his cage/dishes/perch etc, what can I do to stop him?
Our male budgie now has a mate in his cage (also male), and he still tries to ‘feed’ objects in his cage by regurgitating. It really smells. He seems to be eating seed enough himself, its just he keeps bringing up the seed to ‘feed’ what we think, he thinks is a mate or a baby… We have asked similar questions before, as we had the budgie by himself originally, and the vote was for us to get him a mate as he was probably lonley/bored. We did that and we are now disappointed that he still has this smelly habit. The two budgies get along fine together, we want to know, will he eventually stop with the regurgitation? Any toys we put in there too he seems to vomit on as well… His vomit is about 1-2 inches each time, does that make sense? Help!!
take him to a vet he sounds sick!
