What kind of Parrot is this?
My friend was given this parrot that I have personally seen and want it identified. She is planning on giving it to us but we have no idea what it is. (We know how to take care parrots because we have two Sun Conures and Two Budgies)
Anyways down to the description. The Parrot is roughly around the size of a Green Cheek Conure or a Cockatiel. The parrot is mainly green, but I think it has parts of turquoise in it’s tail. It also has two red spots on the top of its back below its neck. It has a yellow ring around it’s neck, and it’s head is black/grey with a mostly yellow beak (It has a black spot on the bottom part.) The belly of the parrot is a lighter shade of green.
This is not a 28 parrot, nor a ringneck. It would be helpful if people who actually knew something about parrots replied so I don’t get a load of replies saying its a budgie. Hopefully someone can help me.
Its not a dusky conure, it has a yellow ring around its neck and its beak isnt completely black

Maybe some kind of lory. The ring around the neck is throwing me off.I can’t think of a small bird that has a ring except a lory and that doesn’t quite fit. A picture would solve the problem.
