is it safe to use anti-bac wipes or even baby wipes on my parrots cage and toys etc?
im currently awaiting the arrival of a baby blue and gold macaw and was wondering if it is safe to use anti bac or baby wipes to clean the cage, perches and toys?
thanks for your answers. i just figured that if anti bac wipes kills 99.9% of germs, then there will be next to no harm but i was a tad unsure of the chemicals in the wipes. will avoid them at all costs! thanks again!
Unless they are just alcohol wipes, no. If they have detergents or anything else in them, do not use them. Remember, parrots use their beaks as another hand, so any residue left by cleaning will end up in their mouth.
