how many birds/parakeets are too many in a house?
just trying to get som opinions out here. i currently have 19 parakeets at home. it started with 4 adults. then 2 of them mated over time and thru 6 months a female laid around 20 eggs. i currently have 11 adult and 5 babies. any one else have that many? is it to much?
they are defently cared for and they are seperated between 3 cages. and it is fun.
as long as you have the room and don’t mind the caretaking and the birds are happy and heathly, then there’s not too many until you think you’ve reached your limit. I have had up to 7 large parrots in my home and one time (macaws and cockatoos) and I know that was my limit.
