What is a good bird besides a parakeet,cockatiel,canary, or finch?
I have had experience with cockatiels and parakeets. I was thinking a sun conure, but they can be loud and screech. What are good birds that are not extremely high maintenance, are friendly, and bond with their owner? Thanks to everyone who answers.
You should not base your decision on what other’s think. What I like or what someone else likes may not suit your lifestyle at all. I may not care much for whatever type you pick. Your best bet is to ask people why they like or dislike a certain type but still do your own research, as in depth as possible, on any that you think you like. Then make up your mind. And please don’t buy it from a pet store, especially not PetCo or PetLand. Seek out a reputable breeder so you get a genetically sound bird for about half the price. Or better yet, look into adopting one of the many birds or parrots out there who have lost their home for whatever reason.
