Can Hamsters Eat Rat Food…?
I bought this Kaytee Fiesta food for “mouse & rats” and I was planning to return it but I want to make sure just in case if my hamster can eat them. On the bag it says, “Nutritionally Fortified Gourmet Food” Kaytee Fiesta for MOUSE & RAT. Can I feed this to my hamster? o.o It doesn’t say for hamsters or other small animals but I was wondering if she could eat them instead of me returning it.

Ah but still what should I do with the food if I shouldn’t feed it to my hamster because my dad keeps saying that it IS for hamsters cause he calls my hamster “rat” and he won’t bring me to return it. Can I just take the seeds from that food and give it to my hamster but not the pellets?
No, for what it costs I would not risk it. Food is made up for different animals according to their requirements, each animal has different needs.
