Cockatiels and Lovebirds?
Cockatiels: I heard cockatiels are very dusty, i have seasonal allergies to stuff like hay and pollen will it cause me allergies? We have a big house could we just put it in one room? I wouldn’t want to isolate it.
Lovebirds: Are lovebirds better for dust? Are they louder? Are the mean? They seem kinda mean. Are they just as sweet?
I was going to get a hand-fed one.
Cockatiels shed lots of dust. Lovebirds, not so much. Lovebirds can have screaming spurts but they are generally both quiet. Lovebirds as pets are a tricky one. first of all, If you want a pet lovebird, you can only keep one hand raised one by itself. If you keep it with another lovebird it will revert to its wild instincts. They can kill other lovebirds if not introduced properly. They make good pets but not as good as Cockatiels(Oh and I’m not just bias).
