We are thinking of getting a bird and wonder if a lovebird…?
is a good bird to get? are they friendly? can you take them out of their cage? what’s a good size cage for one lovebird? what’s been your experience?
Love birds can be antisocial if they have been left in a cage for a long time and not handled. I would try to get a hand raised lovebird, because they are very easy to handle. Read up on parrots and lovebirds before getting one because the books are really helpful to understand a bird’s behaviors.
