I need to know how much is a two liter plastic bottle is and I would also like to know how much brown glass?
Recycling worth per pound?
If you live in a state like Oregon, each 2-liter bottle
is worth the 5 cent deposit that you paid when you purchased
the pop — so a car load is worth several bucks 
I only found one reference which discussed the real value
of the plastic (see reference #1). It claims that over the
last several years, plastic bottles have been worth about
$215/ton (123GBP/ton). That same site explained that it
takes about 20000 bottles to make a ton. One point worth
mentioning is that cities don’t just look at the raw
value of the recycled material, but *also* at the costs
if the material is *not* recycled. Several sites
mentioned a cost of something like $30/ton for a
landfill.
As for glass, reference #2 mentions a value of $15/ton
for glass (in general). Reference #3 breaks that out
into $18/ton for clear glass and $12/ton for amber (brown)
glass. So to directly answer your question, I believe
that brown glass is worth about $12/ton.

Another reference says that glass sorted by color is
worth $0.04 per pound and unsorted glass is worth
