how to get my bird registered?
I bought my bird at a feed store and i would like to buy a bird leash and take him out with me but he is not registered and don’t have the sliver I.D tag on his leg and i don’t want to take a chance and him get out of his leash so how can i get him registered?
ive been told that if he gets lost the tag will I.D him and i can get him back,like a dog tag
Id bands are now seen as cruel. Vet’s have been removing them. Imagine living your life with a handcuff around your ankle. Get your bird microchiped at your vets office. Anyone finding a bird with a band on that doesn’t want to return it will snip it off. They can’t take out a microchip, then again who says they will take it to have it scanned. Just make sure your using a good harness like an aviator brand one and you won’t have to worry about your bird getting out of it.
