Finch question~please answer?
I have a cockatiel and would like to get another bird, but as a companion for my cockatiel during the school year (she hates being alone) and since my parents work she will be alone the whole day
Could buying a couple finches (or canarys) to live in a cage next to hers keep her company while im away. I don’t want to get a bird that needs socialization much because i’m afraid i would play with one bird more than the other and i dont want to be unfair
So would finches keep my cockatiel from being lonely
she has a mirror…i just thought hearing another bird thruought the day would make her feel less alone, and i like finches, so i think thats what i’ll do
yes as long as they are in seperate cages . go for it .
