is it ok to scrape the cuddle bone and put it in the water bowl for the birds (zebra finch)?
my zebra finch doesnt eat the cuddle bone (its new) and i want to kno if i scrape the “calcium” off the bone and put it in the water…will that be ok?
I would boil some eggs, remove the shell, and crush up the shell. Give that to your zebra finch for calcium. Don’t scrape the cuttlebone and put it into your finch’s water. That will cause bacteria to accumulate and can make your zebra finch sick.
