budgie food?
how can i introduce this new food to my budgie? (kaytee exact rainbow) this new food doesnt have husks and the old food does. i dont know if my budgie even knows its food at all, help! thanks in advance!
my budgie is a picky eater, and actually scared of anything new. Try adding some to his old food, and gradually add more of the new stuff. But until he is actually eating alot of it on a regular basis, make sure he still has access to his old stuff, budgies have actually starved instead of eating something new. Sometimes it works for me to put some in my hand and pretend that I am eating it, he’s always interested in what i am eating. Good luck!
