I would like to cover a large number of books in a shorter amount of time. How to do this?
I think that I need to read hundreds of books. What is the most efficient way to read things fast and remember the necessary details after reading it once?
I’m in my 50s, so you may have to look back a bit, but there was a method of reading called “The Evelyn Wood Speed Reading Method”. Or something to that nature. It simply teaches you to read large volumes at top reading and COMPREHENSION speeds by focusing on what is important in the individual sentences, and ignoring the words that are simply used to connect one idea to the next, mainly short words, prepositions, parts of speech that are used correctly, but not necessary to get the point across. I have explained this as well as I can, you can find something online about it, maybe by just typing Evelyn Wood into your Yahoo Ask section. By the way, I read a three hundred word book in about an hour and a half. Depends on the subject matter. Give it a shot.
