can i hatch my chickens eggs in the airing cuboard?
because they wont sit on their eggs at all, and i thought i could keep them warm in the airing cuboard. is that ok? oh and theres a boiler in there btw. what do i have to do to look after them? just keep them warm constantly?
Keep them warm, at about 98-102 degrees in tempertaure. Make sure you dont cover the eggs up completely, because they need air, and covering them up can kill the developing embryo. Also, make sure you turn the eggs 2-3 times a day. This keeps the developing embryo from sticking to the side of the egg shell. Just rotate them a little every 5-6 hours or so.
