Why does my Sun Conure sit on perch or side of cage flopping wings?
Elmo sits on either the perch or way up in corner and starts to flap wings faster & faster and he holds on for dear life. Is this excercise for him or what? Please I need help?
some of it may be exercise, but it sounds more like “begging” to me.
He wants you to pay attention and come get him. He wants out with you.
Suns are great little snugglerers and shoulder birds.
I have a little sun conure and she also sometimes gets in a strange-looking posture when she begs. I can’t describe it, but the wing flapping is always there, with suns and other parrots.
