Pet bird tapping on the plastic part of it cage What this mean, can i stop it somehow?
My pet canary taps on the plastic part of it cage it tinted blue but see through. It really annoying she does it all in the and it wakes me up in the morning is there a reason she does this and is there a way i can stop it?
she had just recently lost her cage buddy another female canary about a month ago do you this may have anything to do with it
It is part of her morning ritual. All birds have a ritual in their human made environment that they find ways to do the things birds do in the morning. Birds by nature are early risers….sunrise or shortly before. It is the nature of the bird. I am sad that such a beautiful little bird…the canary my fave….is annoying to you. They are the quietest and gentlest of caged birds. I am thinking that maybe a sprig of seed treat or greens…romain lettuce, dandelion greens hung in front of the blue thing the night before, will offer her something to eat when she finds herself trying to full fill her early morning need as instinct drives her need to feed. Food dish or not birds find ways to full fill instincts and their life in cages. And somehow this blue thing has become part of her way to cope.
