Really easy knitting pattern?
So, the other day with a little help I started to knit a bird out of a book, but I discovered that a certain type of needle is needed that I haven’t got, but I know someone who possibly does so my birdie had to wait until I see them again. 
In the meantime, is there a really simple knitting pattern for a bird plush thing that doesn’t require:
a) A lot of skill/experience
b) Too much work
c) Only just normal needles? (I only know the basic stitch and a basic purl)
I would happily work on an easy bird that took a while, though.
