How much is it to take a finch bird to the vet?
My bird is really old, sleeps weird and eats too frequently so I want to take it to the vet to give it a check up.I’ve never taken it to the vet since it seemed healthy.My finch is a Zebra Finch bird from Brazil.
Could you tell me just how much it would be to a “bird’ to the vet?(Estimate)
Zebra finches are not long Living birds!! It does not matter where they come from (they are of Australian origin)
5 Years+ is a good life for a Zebra and if yours is any older then you must be prepared for it to pass away.
As for cost of a vet some would charge a standard price some would charge nothing, but what I recommend is if you have a rescue centre near you , take your bird there and they have vets that like myself would charge nothing to diagnose what is wrong with your bird.
But to be honest I believe your bird is coming to the end of a happy life.
