is it ok to feed a baby bird tortillas and make it their main diet?
i found two baby birds outside,they’re the little cute brown birds you see everywhere.i’ve been feeding them half cooked tortillas that i myself chewed before giving it to them.my uncle told me thats what i was supposed to do and the birds seem to like it.but im just wondering if there is anything better icould feed them or do.
Tortillas are not a good source of nutrition, and should not be used as a main diet for any bird. It is alright for a very short time, but the birds will not do well just eating that. When I found baby birds, I gave them worms cut into small pieces. Or you could give it a baby bird formula. I can’t say where to get one as I have never used them.
