Parakeet with injured claw?
I have two parakeets, (make & female) and the female has a torn claw and it bleeds whenever she flies around the cage. And right now she has to hold it up but without tucking it in. And she’s not the nicest bird, and she bites me when I try and look at her foot. So I can’t do much. Will it heal on it’s own? My mom says we can;t take her to a vet because vets can’t do anything about a birds claw. Please help.
There is some bleed stop powder that you can buy at the pet store. If she will let you, you could sprinkle a little of that on her foot.
