What kind of guitar should i get? Arch top, classical, acoustic?
I have played the electric guitar for a few years and want to purchase some sort of acoustic guitar. I think that an arch top would create some cool sounds. Classical would also have a different feel and acoustic too. Advice?
Of the three you listed, a flattop steel string guitar is the most versatile. It can be used for rock, pop, folk, country, bluegrass, blues, and more. An archtop is really a jazz instrument at heart although years ago it was used by groups like the Carter Family for country music. A classical guitar is used almost exclusively to play classical music. Your choice, ultimately.
