Whats the best toy or activity…??
for a long car ride (1400 miles) for two children, 2 1/2 years old and 1 year old?? Any ideas would be great. Thanks!

We recently did a 24 hour drive over 2 days with our 7, 4 and 2 year olds, but have also done the same drive with them when they were your kids ages.
The 2 1/2 year old will love a portable dvd player with their favourite kids movies, but also a bag of goodies would be great. Pack colouring books with special textas (like the ones that change colours), a magna doodle is great, and card games like snap.)
We also found our sons fisher price power touch fantastic for such trips, you know the ones you put books in and they can also do activities with it?
The one year old would probably be happy with some backseat toys they haven’t seen before. One’s that clip to the car seat like the backseat driver, some hanging toys from their window, or will also be happy to watch the dvd player.
Just remember to take frequent stops along the way at parks to allow them to run around and stretch their legs, and pack a lunch box full of healthy snacks and lots of water.
