What is a good activity for call center agents during customer service week?
I need something team-building and fun to break up the monotony. Contests or games. I need ideas that can be tied to a theme day. Example: “Smile day.” Everyone is encouraged to smile when talking to the customer. Prizes such as wind-up chattering teeth are awarded to agents caught smileing on the phone…. Any ideas?
I think the chattering teeth is a brilliant idea! It’s what we call in our center “instant recognition” If an agent is caught doing something good, then they are immidiatly recognized with praise and a silly little prize. POSITIVE RE-ENFORCEMENT. Who doesn’t like chattering teeth, anyhow? Nothing was said about “forcing anyone to smile.” I think that he was giving an EXAMPLE, anyhow — I think it’s a great idea and may even do it in my own center! To the last respondent: You think that instant recognition is embarassing but having agents play bingo and child games isn’t?
