Wallpaper frieze removal?
Hope its spelled correctly, you know the cute ABC blocks and teddies, now a teenager’s room.
Have pulled some off but it took the paint underneath.
Do i need to patch that or just sand?
How to get wallpaper off with no damage to paint under.
Score the wallpaper with a fork then use a mixture of fabric softener with water, equal parts of both. Put this in a spray bottle and spray it on the wallpaper, let it sit for a bit. It should come right off. There still might be some mucky stuff left over but just wash it normally and it will come off. As for the part where the paint came off, just lightly sand it till smooth and paint as you normally would.
